The Temple

April 10, 2022

After entering Jerusalem, Jesus witnesses something that angers him. The house of God, the place where his father is supposed to be worshiped, has been turned into a marketplace of cheating and corruption. In his righteous anger, he overturns their tables and seats and rebukes them and teaches the true purpose of the temple: communion with God. Jesus’ words and actions incite the chief priests and scribes.
